Mom and my sister Joanne are travelling to Lancaster, Pennsylvania this weekend to visit with my Mom's sister, my Aunt Mary. This is a HUGE move forward for my Mom after my Dad's death three months ago. My Aunt Mary lost her husband, my Uncle Al, just about a year ago.
I am so proud of Mom and her movement toward having a new life now that my Dad is gone. I am hoping this is the beginning of her seeing that she has so many opportunities now that she did not have when she was caring for my Dad for so long. I love her so much.
