Meditation Essentials: Silence the HUM
When we are troubled, our worries can create a background hum that plays continuously in our minds. Try this. Visualize yourself "tuning in" on an old-fashioned radio transmitter to banish this hum of anxiety. Imagine the hum crackling and squealing. Then, as you imagine turning the dial, tune into a channel of pure silence. Spend a few minutes enjoying the silence before continuing your day.
