Develpoing Our Opposite Polarity

When there is an area of conflict in a relationship, it is often a sign that each person is reflecting to the other one an energy that the other needs to develop. If two people do not integrate these opposite energies, they will begin to polarize even further in their emotional directions.

For example, in the emotional/rational polarity, one partner will begin carrying the other's emotional energy for them, and will become twice as emotional. The other may be carrying a double load of responsibility for the aspects of life that require a more rational way of dealing with the world. This person will become even more detached emotionally. Both people can begin to break this impasse by taking a step to develop their opposite sides/polarities.
