My friend was amazed yesterday that I can touch my toes in a standing position without bending my knees. He said he was surprised that "at your age you can still do that". Please. I am not even 50 yet. ( I have 4 more months!)
Can you touch your toes like this? It really is something that almost all of us can do if you are willing to work towards. We just have to increase the flexibility and length of our hamstrings and core muscles. It is, however, a true indicator of one's flexibility and physical shape to be able to do this stretch.
By the way, I plan to be able to do this stretch well into the latter years of my life.
