Nirvana and Enlightenment #27

People commonly assume that if they could only become enlightened
everything in their lives would change.

If you obtained NIRVANA, what would be different?

Would you no longer need to drink, eat, or sleep?
Would you no longer need a place to live?
Would you no longer need money or a means to provide things for
your physical body?

NIRVANA equals change--YES,
But, life is life--a human body is a human body.

Remember the old Zen saying,
"Before enlightenment--chop wood, carry water.
After enlightenment, chop wood, carry water."
