WATCH FOR LABEL LOOPHOLES!
According to the food labeling laws, if there is less than a half a gram of fat, the label can read "fat free". If there are fewer than five calories per serving, a label can read "zero calories". Food companies take advantage of of these loopholes by shrinking their serving sizes.
For example, a typical non-stick cooking spray will say "calorie free" on the label, but cooking spray is 100 percent oil! How do they get away with this? Easy- the serving size is a "one-third-of-a-second-spray"according to the label.
