Siddhartaha Guatama studies with two primary Gurus on his quest towards Nirvana.
Arada Kalama taught him Akimcanya Ayatana, "The experience of nothingness."
Udraka Ramaputra taught him Naiva Samjna Asamjina Ayatana, "The experience of conscious unconsciousness."
Siddhartha realized flaws in both of these teachings.
He sat down, realized his own enlightenment, and emerged a Buddha.
His teachers' enlightenment were not his.
His enlightenment was not theirs.
Is one individual's enlightenment more valid than someone else's?
