NIRVANA is not gained by teaching your body to sit for long periods of time in some uncomfortable meditation position. That practice only teaches you discipline.
Physical and mental discipline is good, because it allows you to maintain precise control over your material, tangible life. But, physical and mental discipline does not equal NIRVANA, only a disciplined body and mind.
NIRVANA comes naturally.
