Nirvana and Enlightenment #53

If you allow yourself to embrace a state of mind where other people make you happy or sad, you hold yourself bound and dependent upon the illusion that happiness is something external to yourself.

Outside is always outside.
Another person can make you happy, but they are not you.
They desire what they desire.
For a time, they may desire to make you happy and offer fulfillment.
What happens when they overcome this desire?

Internal happiness is born where you become you.
It does not come from the external stimulation of another individual
providing you with some abstract stimuli.

Naturally happy and content, you do not seek experiences outside of yourself.
Not focusing on the external world; True Self is revealed.

True Self is the passageway to NIRVANA.
