Those of you who train with me at the Mind-Body Fitness Studio know how I can go on about calf exercises. Well, let me tell you why I do. Calf raisers are one of the only methods to get the venous blood which pools in the calves, ankles, and lower leg to be recirculated back up into the heart. When completing calf raisers, one can actually feel this dirty uncirculated blood shooting back up into the heart, being cleansed, and then shooting back into the body for distribution. WOW!
Now, don't you want that to be your experience rather than to end up with edema or circulation problems? So, do those calf raisers and stop complaining when I ask you to do them!!
