Today is World AIDS day. Starbucks is running a campaign where each time you purchase a holiday drink they will provide 5 cents to Global AIDS research in Africa.This campaign will run until January, 2009. What a great idea. AIDS is a pandemic and there is no cure in sight. I have people in my life that I love very deeply who have been affected by this virus. I have lost many others from this disease as well.
I pray for the day when this disease will be gone. Until then, I will do my part in helping others, providing compassion, and educating people about safer sex.
