Your Blood Sugar and Carbohydrates
All carbs are not the same. there are two kinds of carbohydrates, "complex" such as starch and "simple" such as sugar.
Complex carbohydrates raise your blood sugar slowly in contrast to the rapid increase caused by the consumption of simple carbohydrates.
It is highly recommended that you opt for complex carbohydrates over simple carbohydrates.
Some common sources of complex carbohydrates include: oatmeal, brown rice, whole grain breads and yams.
