Nirvana and Enlightenment #62

A person sits down to meditate and becomes frustrated because they can not stop their thoughts.

They are certain that everyone around them is obviously much more holy--lost deeply in meditation.

Meditation is designed to calm your mind, not make it more disrupted.

Relax into your own being.
Be who you are.
Be what you are.

Allow your mind to be silent and you will not need to chase this silence in formal meditation.

Zen is about being, not becoming.
