Stretch and Surrender: #20: Forward Praying Stretch

Benefits: Stretches the arms, the spine, and the entire back. Rejuvenates and refreshes.

METHOD: Kneel on all fours, knees in line with your hips, hands directly under the shoulders, tops of the feet on the floor. Lower your buttocks and sit back over your heels, extending your arms in front of you on the floor. Once in the posture, your head will be between your arms. Place forehead on the floor. Breathe deeply and relax. Hold the stretch for 20-30 seconds. Return to all fours position. Repeat 3 to 5 times.

Tip: Feeling tired? Don't go out for another cup of coffee...do a few rounds of this stretch instead!
