It is opening day today for my beloved Mets. I am also a Yankee fan, however, the Yanks are certainly my second favorite team. The Mets begin the season at Cincinnati facing the Reds with Santana on the hill. The Yanks face Baltimore with C.C. Sabathia pitching his first game as a Yankee.
I get so excited on opening day. The hopes of a World Series coming back to New York is a thrilling thing to imagine. Imagine a subway series in the same year when both New York teams have a brand new ballpark!
I will try to watch the games today between sessions. LETS GO METS!! Go Yanks!!
