Belly Fat

Past research has shown that carrying weight on your mid-section can increase the risk of heart disease. Now, scientists have found that trimming tummy fat through diet can directly affect the health of your arteries. In fact, the more belly fat a person lost, the better able their arteries were to expand, allowing blood to flow more freely.
While this study investigated only the effect of weight loss via diet, other research has shown that moderate to vigorous physical activity, like brisk walking or jogging, can also help annihilate belly fat.
