Nirvana and Enlightenment #86

People spend much of their life struggling to take control over the various
factors which dominate their physical existence:
where they live,
how they live,
who they live with.

Many believe that by mastering one or more of these external dominates
they will somehow, some way, gain a sense of grace and never need to
struggle to achieve anything again.

By believing this, they make internal peace and a life lived in the moment
secondary to the non-stop pursuit of sought-after illusion.

As long as you focus your life on something external, even enlightenment,
your life will forever be a battle.

A battle never equals peace.

External is never whole nor complete.

Accepting the unlikely perfection of the external world can, however,
make it whole and complete.

Let go and know.
