Self Meditation 63

When negativity starts coming in, you have to release the negative.
You have to do this alone, even if the negativity involves another person.

If you really want to understand your mind, you must watch it while it is angry, while it desires, while it is in conflict.
You must pay attention to the mind as the 1001 thoughts and emotions arise and fall.
The moment you pay attention to your emotions, you will find that they lose their strength and eventually die out.

When your mind tries to dwell on negative things, take time to sit quietly and silently clear your head.
Think of a clear, flowing brook with fresh water gently cleansing and refreshing you until you feel calm.
