Buddhist Psychology - #3

The division of mental qualities into healthy and unhealthy states helps us to see the true causes of our unhappiness and our suffering very clearly.
It also describes and illustrates a very important and profound psychological truth: healthy and unhealthy factors are mutually inhibiting.
When healthy factors are present, unhealthy ones are not.
So, when we foster and nurture healthy states, unhealthy states will disappear.
