Libido Issues

Sex drive MIA?

Oral contraceptives or other medications could be to blame. Ask your doctor if they could be interfering with your libido.

If your sex drive is lower than you’d like, don’t keep it to yourself. Many medical conditions and medications could be getting in the way of your desire or your ability to perform. A study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, for instance, shows a link between oral contraceptives and sexual dysfunction. Antidepressants are also a common cause. Always talk to your doctor first to rule out underlying conditions or medications, and never stop taking prescribed pills without discussing it first with your physician.
