Assumptions are made so quickly and unconsciously because we have agreements to communicate this way.
We have agreed that it is not safe to ask questions.
We have agreed that if people love us, they should know what it is that we want and need, and also how we feel.
These assumptions are not true!
We need to clearly communicate what we need and how we feel.
We also need to ask questions to obtain more precise information from others about their needs and feelings.
