Nirvana and Enlightenment #141

You can meditate for long hours if you want to meditate.

Meditation places your mind in a cocoon so you do not have to
encounter the unpleasantness of day-to-day reality.

Meditating and renouncing the world have been propagated as a
path to enlightenment.
But, what does renouncing the world prove?

Renouncing provides nothing but a seemingly holy reason
for running away from the stresses of modern life.

Running away does not equal enlightenment.
Running away equals escapism.
It is easy to be peaceful in a cave.
But how much enlightenment can you find there?

See enlightenment in every life action,
and you will find that the essence of true Nirvana
is everywhere and in everything that you do,
even those things you do not want to do.
