Nirvana and Enlightenment #127

You can embrace the common elements of human existence:
momentary anger,
temporary desires,
seeking,
longing,
and emotions which lead you down untold paths of confusion,
if you like.

Or, you can turn off the transient nature of everyday human life
and know NIRVANA.

Your life--your choice.

Those things in life that evoke our learned responses of negativity are just ~ those things in life.

The choice to exchange conditioned response for a perception that brings joy is the transmutation of conditioned response, and the practice of such transmutation is what brings transcendence of ~ those things in life. They are still there, being dealt with, but from a wholly changed perspective, one which gleans from each situation as much good as is possible.

If you've not learned something, how do you know what it is or how to do it? If your learned responses are problematic and uncomfortable and painful, try a simple mental "no" to them ~ and see what possibilities, given the chance, come to mind.

A great place to start is with perceptions of nature ~ do you 'see' it, in all its beauty and connectedness, or is it just what's out there around the building you're entering for a meeting? Give nature its beautiful due and be enriched and delighted, and see how that permeates the rest of what you see ~ and how that changing view affects all in your experience.

For info about this very rewarding relationship with nature, I invite you to the website for my newly published book of metaphysical poetry ~ Live, From the Mystic. The website is http://www.strategicbookpublishing.com/LiveFromtheMystic.html
