Dr. Crew's NLP Lessons #4(B)

ANCHORING--Part 2

Ready to learn a few simple tips to set powerful states into motion?

Setting an anchor is easier when it is associated with intense states such as laughing hysterically, being totally motivated, completely energetic, or calm and peaceful. Now, connect this feeling to a physical movement such as pressing your thumb and forefinger together.

Using a picture of yourself or remembering a time when you were thinner, more motivated, or not fearful and connecting these memories to that desired behavior is also a good way to keep yourself on track to meet your goals.

Producing and reproducing that desired state within yourself will go a long way to assisting you to meet the identified goal based upon your true intentions.

When I do hypnotherapy, I often anchor a specific state to a desired behavior while the subject is in deep trance. This is very helpful in behavior modification.
