Self Meditation 87

Be a tree.
Visualize yourself as a tree with branches reaching to the sky and roots extending into the earth.
On alternate inhalations, draw air and sunlight in and exhale them down into your roots.
On the other inhalations, imagine gathering energy from the earth up through your roots and exhale this through your branches.

Watch your mind carefully as it moves between opposites.
Look for the moment in which it is still.

Make a list of the things in your life that you are very attached to.
Stop and look over the list and see what purpose these things serve for you.
What would happen if you let go of one of them?
Each day this week, let go of one, just for the day.
See how it feels; you may be surprised.
