Repeating History

“Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know.”

Pema Chodron

This can be a hard pill to swallow, but if there’s one constant in your ongoing struggles, it’s you. If you feel like you can’t trust any of your friends, it’s probably more about you than them. If you have persistent trouble holding a job, it’s probably more about you than the jobs you’re pursuing.

Until we acknowledge what needs to be addressed, history will keep repeating itself. Nothing changes until we change.

The good news is that every day is an opportunity to learn, change, and grow. If you wake up breathing, you have a new opportunity to live the life you want.

What do you need to learn from and then let go of today?
