Coffee and Cholesterol

Coffee that isn’t filtered through paper can raise cholesterol.
If that’s a concern, stay away from French press and espresso drinks.

Don’t let your "morning joe" contribute to high cholesterol.
Two substances in coffee, kahweol and cafestol, elevate cholesterol when consumed.
Luckily, paper filters can keep them out of your brew.
Stick with coffee drinks that have been filtered through paper, and steer clear of boiled, Turkish and French press coffee, as well as drinks made with espresso.
