Footprints Left

Some people come into our lives and quickly go.
Some people stay for awhile,
and move our souls to dance.
They awaken us to a new understanding,
leave footprints on our hearts,
and we are never, ever the same.

Shades of Gray

There really is no black and white.

The yin yang symbol may be black and white, but each segment of the circle is constantly merging into the other.
We perceive dark because of the absence of light; night becomes day—they are complements, not opposites.
Without one we could not appreciate the other.
And then there is hot, warm, cool, cold, tepid, freezing etc.
Look for the degrees in life (the shades of gray if you like).

Where We Dwell

Re-Frame

Write down everything you’ve learned from a difficult experience so you can see it as something useful and empowering, instead of something to stress you out.

Re-Examine

Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact.

Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.
