Responsibility For Feelings
We are never responsible for another person’s feelings. If they are angry or frustrated with us they too have to accept that they are completely responsible for these feelings they are experiencing as well.
One of the more common struggles I have seen in working with my patients is their inability to understand this truth. They often believe the false notion that they can “make” another person feel something that they feel. They either accept blame for doing this or they mistakenly believe that another person should accept the blame for what they themselves are feeling.
All of this is untrue.
All of this is delusion.
